Beschreibung:
Fmoc-D-threonine is a synthetic amino acid that has the same conformation as l-threonine. It is used in solid-phase peptide synthesis to assemble glycopeptides and as a building block for peptide synthesis. Fmoc-D-threonine has been shown to be an efficient and practical synthon for the preparation of glycosylated peptides, which are important for many aspects of molecular biology and protein biochemistry. The conformational properties of Fmoc-D-threonine have been studied by conformational analysis using CD and NMR spectroscopy. This amino acid also exhibits dichroism, where it can be distinguished from other amino acids by its absorption spectrum in polarized light.
