Beschreibung

5-Fluoro-2-methoxybenzaldehyde is an inhibitor that blocks the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It has been shown to be useful in the synthesis of a variety of drugs, including anticancer agents and antibiotics. 5-Fluoro-2-methoxybenzaldehyde is used in the industrial production of acetonitrile and can also be found in small quantities as a natural component of many fruits and vegetables. It is also used as a precursor for other chemicals, such as pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
