Fmoc-D-Tyr(4-Et)-OH is a solid phase peptide synthesis byproduct that is produced when the Fmoc group is removed from an amino acid. The Fmoc group prevents side reactions and makes it possible to couple amino acids in a stepwise manner. The efficiency of this process can be increased by using a coupling agent such as HBTU or HATU, which will result in the production of the desired peptide in high yield. This product is used for the synthesis of cyclic peptides with a sequence of D-Tyr(4-Et)-OH.
