Beschreibung

3-Fluoropropyl 4-Methylbenzenesulfonate is a tosylate that is used as a diagnostic agent in positron emission tomography and single photon emission computed tomography. 3-Fluoropropyl 4-Methylbenzenesulfonate has been shown to be an effective matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor and can be used for imaging of cancerous tissue. It has also been shown to have cardiac uptake and can be used as a radiotracer for cardiac imaging. 3-Fluoropropyl 4-Methylbenzenesulfonate can be synthesized by an asymmetric synthesis.
