Beschreibung

2-(2-Fluoro-4-Hydroxy-5-Methoxyphenyl)Acetic Acid is a selective inhibitor of catecholamine uptake, which is an important step in the production of dopamine. 2-(2-Fluoro-4-Hydroxy-5-Methoxyphenyl)Acetic Acid prevents the accumulation of dopamine and thus inhibits protein synthesis. It has been shown to decrease blood pressure and improve cardiac function. This drug is also used for diagnosis, as it can be detected in blood samples through positron emission tomography (PET).
