• Beschreibung: Guanylmelamine is an amide that has a naphthalene backbone. It has the following structural formula: The compound can be found in inorganic acid and chloride salts, as well as aliphatic hydrocarbons, triazines, phenyl groups, and hydroxyl groups. The compound is also present in divalent hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. Guanylmelamine has a constant of -0.3 at 25°C and 0.1 at 100°C. Guanylmelamine is used to lower body temperature by increasing heat loss from the body to the environment. The compound also helps to reduce swelling by decreasing tissue fluid retention, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandins synthesis. Furthermore, Guanylmelamine inhibits bacterial growth through binding with DNA-dependent RNA polymerase and prevents transcription and replication of the bacteria's DNA.
