Geranyl linalool also displays antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Geranyl linalool is soluble in organic solvents such as methanol and ethanol, but insoluble in water. The chemical ionization mass spectrum of geranyl linalool has been observed to produce water-vapor ions at m/z 94 and 95 with a retention time of 12.5 minutes.
