Produktinformation
- Gly-ol- 2-chlorotrityl resin2-Aminoethanol-trt(2-Cl)-resin
Glycinol 2-chlorotrityl resin is a model system that is used to study the binding of hydroxyl groups to receptors. It is synthesized by reacting glycinol with chlorotrityl chloride in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid and hydrochloric acid. The reaction solution was analyzed by HPLC and found to contain an average of 1.5 equivalents of glycinol per equivalent of chlorotrityl chloride. This reaction produces a mixture of glycinol 2-chlorotrityl esters, which can be purified by recrystallization from acetone or dichloromethane. Glycinol 2-chlorotrityl resin has been used as a receptor for studying protein data and synthesis methods, as well as for analytical chemistry and kinetic data on reactions mechanisms.
