The binding of this compound to DNA appears to be reversible, as it can be released by heating. This compound also has an anti-complement activity and an antinociceptive effect at concentrations of 10 mg/kg. It has been shown to have anticancer properties against breast cancer cells and is effective in inhibiting the growth of these cells at concentrations of 25-100 μg/mL.
