Beschreibung

Secoiridoids are a group of natural phenols that are found in plants. They have been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi, such as Cladosporium cucumerinum. 6'-O-b-D-Glucosylgentiopicroside is a secoiridoid that has been isolated from the plant Gentiana lutea and has shown activity against cladosporium cucumerinum. Secoiridoids have also been shown to be effective against other pathogenic fungi, such as Coccidioides immitis and Cryptococcus neoformans. 6'-O-b-D-Glucosylgentiopicroside shows anti-inflammatory effects and is used in traditional medicine to treat bronchitis and coughs.
