• Beschreibung: Ganoderic acid C6 is a natural product with potent anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities. It has shown to inhibit the growth of human cancer cells in vitro by targeting the fatty acid synthase enzyme, which is involved in biosynthesis of fatty acids. Ganoderic acid C6 also inhibits hydroxylation of oleic acid, an important step in the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This inhibition leads to a decrease in inflammation and chronic bronchitis. Although ganoderic acid C6 has been shown to have beneficial effects on metabolic disorders, it has also been shown to be toxic to liver cells at high concentrations. The toxicity may be due to its ability to inhibit different enzymes that are involved in fatty acid metabolism.
