Beschreibung

Hexythiazox is an antibiotic that blocks the synthesis of folic acid, which is essential for bacterial growth. It has been shown to have synergistic effects with other drugs, such as ester hydrochloride and anhydrous sodium. Hexythiazox has been used to treat infections caused by drug-resistant bacteria, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). This antibiotic has also been used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy and cancerous breast tumours.
