Beschreibung:1-Hydroxy-1H-benzotriazole, ammonium salt is a selective kinase inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells in vitro. It inhibits the enzyme activity of the catalytic subunit of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, PKCα and PKCβII, which are involved in cell cycle progression and tumor growth. 1-Hydroxy-1H-benzotriazole, ammonium salt binds to the ATP binding site on these enzymes, inhibiting their activity. 1-Hydroxy-1H-benzotriazole, ammonium salt has also been shown to inhibit other kinases such as cAMP dependent protein kinase (PKA) and p38 mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK). The most common side effects are nausea and vomiting.
