It is soluble in water and alcohols but insoluble in acetone, ether, and chloroform. The solubility of this drug depends on the temperature; it is more soluble at higher temperatures. The addition of methacrylates such as methyl methacrylate or ethyl methacrylate increases solubility and reduces viscosity at higher temperatures.
