Beschreibung:
Hydroxyebastine is a drug that is an inhibitor of the enzyme epoxyeicosanoid synthase. The inhibition of this enzyme leads to the accumulation of eicosanoids, which are lipid signaling molecules that play important roles in many biological processes. Hydroxyebastine has been shown to have anti-cancer properties and can be used for the treatment of cancerous cells in vitro. It has also been shown to inhibit the production of P-glycoprotein substrate and potently inhibits other enzymes involved in drug metabolism, such as CYP3A4, which may lead to drug interactions.
