• Beschreibung: 16b-Hydroxy stanozolol is a metabolite of the anabolic steroid stanozolol. It has been shown that 16b-hydroxy stanozolol has a similar affinity for the androgen receptor as estradiol benzoate, which is one of the active metabolites of estradiol. The metabolism of 16b-hydroxy stanozolol in humans and animals is very similar to that seen in rats, with formation via hydroxylation followed by conjugation with glucuronic acid or sulfate. 16b-Hydroxy stanozolol can be detected by immunosorbent assays using antiserum specific to this compound.
