• Beschreibung: Hydroxyhomo sildenafil is a pharmaceutical drug that belongs to the class of pde-5 inhibitors. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension. The linear calibration curve for hydroxyhomo sildenafil was constructed using human serum at concentrations of 0.5, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, and 20 μM. The LC-MS/MS method showed that the hydroxyl group at C17 was present in all samples analyzed. Bosentan has been found to be an effective treatment for pulmonary hypertension by blocking the activation of phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5). This drug can be detected using an analytical chemistry technique such as gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) or liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
