Beschreibung

Malondialdehyde is a reactive aldehyde that is produced in the body by lipid peroxidation and has been shown to be an accurate marker of oxidative stress. 1-Hydrazino-2,2,2-trifluoroethane - 70% can be used as a chemical reagent to measure malondialdehyde levels in blood samples. The extractant reacts with the malondialdehyde and forms an adduct that can be detected using gas chromatography. The use of this chemical reagent is useful for determining the extent of oxidative stress in clinical studies or as a control study when evaluating new drugs or treatments.
