Beschreibung

2'-Hydroxyflavanone is a natural compound that has been shown to inhibit cancer cell proliferation, induce apoptosis, and reduce inflammation. It also inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNF-α. 2'-Hydroxyflavanone has also been shown to decrease mitochondrial membrane potential and inhibit the growth of xenograft tumors by inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. This compound binds to the mcl-1 protein, which inhibits cell death signaling pathways. In addition, 2'-hydroxyflavanone inhibits polymerase chain reaction activity and can be used as an inhibitor for p21 protein, which is a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor.
