HO-PEG7-OH is a glycol that is used in the preparation of glp-1 analogues. HO-PEG7-OH has been shown to be a useful analytical method for determining the rate constant of reactions, such as methyl ethyl glycol and sodium salt. HO-PEG7-OH is also an effective monoclonal antibody stabilizer, which can be used to protect antibodies from degradation. HO-PEG7-OH is a potential therapeutic agent for congestive heart failure due to its ability to stimulate glucose uptake in skeletal muscle cells. It has also been shown to have ginsenoside RG3 as an active ingredient that may help with the treatment of type 2 diabetes. HO-PEG7-OH's structural analysis has revealed stable complexes with trifluoroacetic acid, which can be used in the synthesis of other compounds.
