Produktinformation
- Indium Triacetate Hydrate
Indium(III) acetate hydrate is a photoconductive material that has been used in the fabrication of semiconductor devices, such as photodetectors and x-ray detectors. It is also used for the production of polyethylene terephthalate. Indium(III) acetate hydrate is an inorganic compound with a chemical formula of In(OOCCH3). It is a white solid that can be obtained from the reaction of indium oxide with acetic acid. The material can be prepared by heating indium oxide to about 400°C and then adding acetic acid to it. This creates a white powder, which is then heated under vacuum to remove any excess water.
