Beschreibung

3-Indoxylacetate is a phosphatase inhibitor that has been shown to be active against the enzyme activities of genus testicular and indoxyl. It is used in wastewater treatment as well as an analytical reagent for the determination of acetylcholinesterase inhibition. The reaction solution can be detected with a detection sensitivity of 0.04 femtomoles per milliliter, which is suitable for clinical applications. 3-Indoxylacetate has been shown to inhibit inflammatory bowel disease by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis and reducing inflammation.
