Beschreibung

1,1'-Isophthaloylbiscaprolactam is a carbonyl compound that belongs to the group of dyestuffs. It is an affinity reagent that reacts with phenyl groups and acidic compounds such as carboxylic acids and phenols. 1,1'-Isophthaloylbiscaprolactam can be used in polymerization processes for the synthesis of polyisophthalates. 1,1'-Isophthaloylbiscaprolactam is hydrolyzed by strong bases or organic solvents and can be used in the production of vinyl acetate or terephthalate esters. This chemical has been used to crosslink plastics and other materials and has been shown to catalyze the reaction between metal compounds.
