Beschreibung

ITO is a type of indium-tin oxide, which is an inorganic semiconductor with a variety of applications. It can be used as coatings for energy efficiency and as growth factor to promote the growth of cells. ITO has also been used in the fabrication of nanotubes that are used as gas sensors and plasma mass spectrometers. ITO has been shown to be a good candidate for use in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) due to its high conductivity and optical transparency. ITO's crystalline structure can be grown from butyric acid, which is scalable and inexpensive to produce. The most common form of ITO is a transparent conductor, which is made up of alternating layers of indium tin oxide and silicon dioxide that have different levels of oxygen concentration.
ITO's transport properties are dependent on the thickness and crystalline orientation, while its optical properties depend on the crystalline orientation and surface treatment.
