Beschreibung

Isosaponarin is a natural product that belongs to the class of cinnamic acid derivatives. Isosaponarin has been shown to have vasodilatory effects in a model system and has been shown to reduce chronic prostatitis. This compound also displays anion radical scavenging activity and may be used as a model for the design of new drugs with anti-inflammatory properties. Isosaponarin has also been shown to increase collagen production and improve energy metabolism in cells, which may be due to its effects on fatty acid synthesis. Isosaponarin has also been shown to have positive results in vitro tests on inflammatory diseases such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
