Beschreibung

Iomeprol is an injection solution that is used to prevent and treat heart attacks, angiography, and other forms of heart disease. It belongs to the class of drugs called dinucleotide phosphates. Iomeprol has a high value for the prevention of infectious diseases in patients with high plasma mass values. Iomeprol has been shown to have a protective effect against radiation by inhibiting cell damage and death caused by ionizing radiation. Iomeprol also has a hepatoprotective effect on liver cells and can be used as a treatment for liver lesions in patients with congestive heart failure or diagnosis of myocardial infarcts.
