Beschreibung

Isepamicin sulfate is a hydrophobic antibiotic that is used to treat infections. It has been shown to be effective against chronic pain and aneurysms in animal models. Isepamicin sulphate enters the body fluids, tissues, and cells of bacteria and interferes with their ability to synthesize essential proteins. This drug also inhibits the growth of some bacteria by interfering with protein synthesis in the ribosome. The presence of isepamicin sulfate has been detected in the abdominal fluid and tissue samples of patients with bacterial infections. Isepamicin sulphate is biodegradable and thermally stable, making it a good candidate for long-term use as a drug delivery system for treating infectious diseases. In addition, its carbon nanotube coating makes it suitable for use as an energy-dispersive x-ray contrast agent for imaging infected tissue during surgery.
