Beschreibung

Isobiflorin is a phenolic compound with an extensive history of use in traditional Chinese medicine. The chemical structure of isobiflorin has been determined by a combination of spectroscopic and chemical methods. Isobiflorin has demonstrated radical scavenging activities, and it has been shown to have anti-obesity effects in mice. It also has immunoregulatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Isobiflorin has also been shown to synergize with eugenol for the treatment of influenza virus infection.
