• Beschreibung: 4,5-Diaminofluorescein-isopropanol adduct (DAF-IPA) is a fluorescent probe that can be used to measure the levels of intracellular targets. It is a neutral pH probe and has been shown to be useful in studies of p38mapk activation and ischemia/reperfusion injury. DAF-IPA is also able to detect reactive oxygen species (ROS) by measuring the oxidation of DAF by ROS. This probe has been used in plant physiology, where it was found that plants with low water potentials had higher levels of ROS than those with high water potentials.
