Beschreibung

Kaempferol is a flavonol that is found in plants, fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Kaempferol has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. It also inhibits the protein kinase activity of certain cancer cells and prevents tumor growth. This compound has been shown to be effective in animal models of human cancers. Kaempferol can be found in Chinese medicines as an anti-cancer treatment and can also be used to treat various illnesses such as fever, coughs, asthma, and oedema. Kaempferol has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties that may contribute to its ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes.
