Beschreibung

15-Keto prostaglandin E1 is a prostanoic acid with 15-hydroxy group in the middle of the molecule. It is a metabolite of prostaglandin and has been shown to have antioxidative activity, which may be related to its ability to inhibit platelet aggregation. 15-Keto prostaglandin E1 has also been found to increase insulin sensitivity, reduce blood pressure, and inhibit neutrophil activation. This compound has potential clinical relevance for prevention and treatment of many diseases such as cancer, coronary heart diseases, and inflammatory disorders.
