• Beschreibung: Kresoxim-methyl is a fungicide that inhibits the growth of fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of ATP. This inhibition is due to the inhibition of mitochondrial enzymes, such as atp synthase. Kresoxim-methyl also has been shown to inhibit the activity of several enzymes in plant mitochondria and chloroplasts, including acetolactate synthase, malate dehydrogenase, isocitrate dehydrogenase, and succinate dehydrogenase. Kresoxim-methyl binds to natural compounds with terminal methyl groups through a hydrogen bond, resulting in the formation of kresoxim-methyl derivatives, which are more stable than their parent compounds. It also has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial cytochrome C oxidase and increase membrane potential in mammalian cells.
