Beschreibung

Lanatoside B is a naturally occurring compound found in plants. It has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect in congestive heart failure and autoimmune diseases. Lanatoside B is used as an analytical reagent to determine the presence of lanatosides in plant tissue culture and as a pharmaceutical preparation for the treatment of congestive heart failure. Lanatoside B can be detected by fluorescence detectors, which are useful for the analysis of pharmaceutical preparations and human serum. The hydroxyl group on lanatoside B allows it to form hydrogen bonds with other compounds, and this may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects. Structural analysis of lanatoside B has revealed that it is structurally similar to natural products from other plant families that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
