Beschreibung

Salbutamol is a β2-adrenergic receptor agonist that is used to treat asthma and other lung diseases caused by inflammation. Salbutamol also has inhibitory properties on the 2-adrenergic receptors, as well as other pharmacological agents. These inhibitory properties may be beneficial in combination therapy groups with other drugs such as levalbuterol, which also has β2-adrenergic receptor agonist effects. Salbutamol can increase serum prolactin levels, which may be clinically relevant in pediatric patients and pregnant women.
