Beschreibung:
Licochalcone B is a medicine that belongs to the class of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitors. It has been shown to have anti-cancer effects by inducing apoptosis in cancer cells, and is used as a cancer treatment drug in China. Licochalcone B inhibits CDKs, which are enzymes that regulate the cell cycle. This inhibition leads to an accumulation of cells in the G2/M phase and triggers apoptosis. In addition, licochalcone B has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis and cause death of human cancer cells in cell line experiments.
