Psoralenoside is a natural compound that inhibits the transcriptional regulation of melanogenesis. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases and proteases, as well as their ability to activate pro-inflammatory cytokines, which may be important in the treatment of psoriasis. Psoralenoside is available in two chemical forms: psoralen and its glycoside, psoralenoside. Psoralens are compounds that can bind to DNA and form covalent bonds with it.
