Beschreibung:
3-Methyl-1-penten-4-yn-3-ol is an isomeric chemical compound with a synthetic origin. It has been studied for its dehydrohalogenation properties, which can be used to prepare other compounds. 3-Methyl-1-penten-4-yn-3-ol has two isomers, the alpha and beta form. The reaction rate of this compound is relatively slow in acidic conditions, but faster when it is prepared synthetically in basic conditions.
