Beschreibung

N-Methyl-4-(trifluoromethyl)aniline is a synthetic chemical compound that is used as a chiral, spirocyclic reaction intermediate. It has been shown to catalyze the methylation of anilines, which are important in biomolecular synthesis. This agent can be prepared in large quantities and is soluble in many solvents, including amines and electron-deficient solvents. N-Methyl-4-(trifluoromethyl)aniline can also be used to produce the drug diazepam, which is orally active.
