Beschreibung:
1-Morpholin-4-ylacetone is a hydroxy functional compound, which can be used as a polymerization initiator. The hydroxyl group of the molecule is removed and replaced with an amine group to form 1-morpholin-4-ylpyrrolidinium chloride. This compound is used in the production of polymers, such as ester compounds, wherein it acts as a crosslinking agent. 1-Morpholin-4-ylacetone has been shown to react with radiation to produce free radicals that initiate polymerization reactions. It also reacts with cationic monomers to form water insoluble polymers.
