Beschreibung

Methyl 3-anilinopropanoate is a reactive amine that is used in catalytic reactions. It is activated by treatment with an acid, such as hydrochloric acid, and the catalyst can be easily recovered by filtration. Methyl 3-anilinopropanoate reacts with alkenes to form anti-Markovnikov products, which are useful for the synthesis of acrylates. The functional group also facilitates hydroamination reactions and esterification reactions. This compound is used as a solid-state material in zeolites as well as other catalytic applications.
