Beschreibung

Metamizolemagnesiumsalt is a pain reliever and psychostimulant that is used to control pain during and after surgery. It is also used to treat abdominal, epidural, and tracheal intubations. Metamizolemagnesiumsalt belongs to the group of medicines known as anesthesics. This drug has been shown to be effective in controlling pain caused by erythromycin-induced subarachnoid hemorrhage in rats. The mechanism of action for metamizole is not fully understood but may be due to its effects on chloride channels or inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
