Beschreibung

Methylnicotinoylacetate is a small molecule that inhibits the growth of cancer cells by interfering with cell division. It is also a potent inhibitor of cell growth, and has been shown to inhibit the production of cytokines in autoimmune diseases and disorders. Methylnicotinoylacetate has been shown to be active against a range of human cancers, including breast, prostate, colon, lung, and pancreatic cancer. The mechanism of action is not well understood but may involve inhibition of DNA synthesis or modification of DNA methylation status.
