Produktinformation
- Benzenesulfonamide, 4-methyl-N-(xanthen-9-yl)-
- Benzenesulfonamide, 4-methyl-N-9H-xanthen-9-yl-
- p-Toluenesulfonamide, N-(xanthen-9-yl)-
4-Methyl-N-(9H-xanthen-9-yl)-benzenesulfonamide is an endogenous, long-chain fatty acid with a deuterium isotope. It is synthesized from the natural fatty acid 9H-xanthenoleic acid by oxidation of the methyl group and sulfonation at the 4 position. This molecule has been shown to induce cancer cell death, which may be due to its ability to activate extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK) and caspase 3.
