Magnesium aspartate tetrahydrate is a magnesium salt that is used for the treatment of bowel disease. It also has antioxidant properties due to its ability to scavenge free radicals. The drug inhibits human T-cell lymphoma cells by binding to DNA polymerase, which prevents RNA synthesis and protein synthesis.
