Beschreibung

3-Methoxyphenylboronic acid pinacol ester is a boron-containing compound that can be used in the synthesis of flavones and diarylated phenols. It is an oxidizing agent with the ability to reduce aromatic esters and carbonyl compounds to their corresponding alcohols. The pinacol ester group makes 3-methoxyphenylboronic acid pinacol ester a useful reagent for the preparation of chromanones, as well as boronic acids. 3-Methoxyphenylboronic acid pinacol ester has been used in the study of biomolecular sequences, as well as chemistry involving functionalities and monomers.
