• Beschreibung: A-796260 is a synthetic cannabinoid that binds to the CB2 receptor. It has been demonstrated to have anti-cancer effects in vivo and in vitro. A-796260 was shown to significantly inhibit tumor growth and prolong survival time in mice with colorectal cancer. A-796260 also showed chemopreventive effects on colon tumorigenesis and decreased the incidence of colon adenocarcinoma. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) activity and increase 2-AG levels in human liver cells, which may be responsible for its therapeutic effects. Further studies are needed to determine the clinical relevance of these findings.
