Produktinformation
- Pyridazine, 3-Methoxy-
3-Methoxypyridazine is an amide with a linear polymer structure. It is soluble in water, but insoluble in organic solvents. 3-Methoxypyridazine has been shown to undergo a number of reactions, including hydroxylation, chlorination, and oxidation. The compound can form a phenolic or n-oxide tautomeric form depending on the pH of the solution. Hydrogen peroxide reacts with 3-methoxypyridazine to produce an acid hydrazide and 3-hydroxy-2-pyridinol. This compound also reacts with sodium hydroxide solution to produce hippuric acid and pyridine.
