Beschreibung

5-Mercapto-1H-tetrazole-1-methanesulfonic acid disodium salt is a trifluoride ligand that can be used in the preparation of supramolecular complexes. The compound has low solubility and therefore requires an organic solvent to dissolve it. 5-Mercapto-1H-tetrazole-1-methanesulfonic acid disodium salt can be used as a reaction solution to prepare complexes with transition metal ions, such as nickel or palladium, through a ligand exchange reaction. When irradiated with UV light, this compound emits luminescence properties.
5-Mercapto-1H-tetrazole-1-methanesulfonic acid disodium salt can be used as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of 7 aminocephalosporanic acid from 7 hydroxybenzoate and acetonitrile in a low yield reaction.
