• Beschreibung: C.I.Mordant green 17 is a synthetic azo dye that is used as an additive in coatings and plastics. It has been shown to have antiviral activity against enteroviruses, such as poliovirus, coxsackievirus B3, hepatitis C virus, and human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). It also reduces inflammation in the bowel due to its anti-inflammatory properties. The main mechanism of action is thought to be via inhibition of the viral replication cycle by interfering with the synthesis of viral proteins or nucleic acid synthesis.
