Beschreibung

L-Menthyl 2,2-dihydroxyacetate is a synthetic compound that belongs to the group of salicylic acid derivatives. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds and can be recycled. L-Menthyl 2,2-dihydroxyacetate reacts with primary amines to form iminoacetic esters and glyoxylates by acidic hydrolysis.
